Delicious & Done is ready to launch into supermarkets.

Getting a new product into supermarkets is never easy. If it was, everyone would do it. Not everyone can, but Daniel Weaver can.

Thanks to Janine Chamley, I met Dan just over a year ago. His food knowledge is impressive. What he doesn’t know about food is probably not worth knowing. That's how I know his product is perfect for our dinner tables at home.

Dan is well known for his years in Foodservice. He has used that experience to create this new range of chilled and frozen heat-and-eat meal solutions.

And right now, that’s exactly where the market is heading.

People want real food without the effort of cooking. No compromise on taste. That is what Delicious & Done is, great food, minimal effort.

The ready-meal category has evolved. It’s no longer just about convenience. Shoppers want meals that are wholesome, satisfying and closer to home cooking than takeaways. My hubby and I spend about $50 when we get takeaways. A family size Delicious & Done meal costs significantly less and likely tastes a whole lot better too.

A big thank you to Falyn, Daniel and Alexandra for supporting an idea that meets a clear customer need: Give me time. Give me taste.

As someone who loves food and has a long history of burning pots and ruining dinners, this kind of solution makes perfect sense for me once or twice a week.

Peel the film. Pop it in the oven. Dinner sorted. No more burnt pots, or ruined dinners. If you check out my Bangers and Mash photo you will see what I mean.

So far, I have tried the:
• Smokey Ham Mac & Cheese
• Classic Bangers and Mash
• Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken with Rice & Stir-fried Vegetables
• Creamy Butter Chicken and Rice
• Chilli Con Carne and Rice

So good!

Delicious & Done will be heading out to local Northland stores in PAK'nSAVE and New World very soon.
